Deputy Ryan M. Schick, 28, faced multiple felony charges including stalking, strangulation, suffocation, false imprisonment, and misdemeanor battery against a colleague with whom he had a prior romantic relationship. The incidents occurred between March and September 2023, often while Schick was on duty. Specific allegations included physical assaults leading to bruising, unauthorized visits to the victim’s residence, and controlling behavior. Schick was arrested in September 2023 and, following a plea agreement, received two years of probation, surrendered his law enforcement certification, and was ordered to have no contact with the victim.
