In 2012, Chief McGraw was accused of illegally entering a home in Century, Florida, drawing his weapon without Florida law enforcement involvement, and unlawfully arresting an individual, transporting them back to Alabama. These actions led to a criminal investigation by the Florida State Attorney’s Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. McGraw was placed on indefinite paid leave and subsequently resigned from his position.
