In December 2020, Officer Marcus Webster was charged with violating the Montgomery Police Department’s off-duty employment policy by presenting himself as a courtesy officer without residing on the properties he served. Investigations revealed that Webster had earned $43,560.00 from unauthorized off-duty work at Woods RV Park and Eagle Landing. As a result, he was suspended for 20 days, demoted, and prohibited from accepting off-duty work for one year.
