Additionally, after Broussard’s transfer to the night shift, her request to speak with Major Head regarding the transfer was denied. However, the court found that these factual allegations did not support a claim for liability in an individual capacity under § 1983 based on the alleged First Amendment violation, leading to the dismissal of all § 1983 claims against Major Head.
