Nicholas Shane Osborne – Oneonta Police Department

In May 2017, while on duty as a sergeant, Osborne met a 15-year-old boy via the Grindr app. He drove the minor in his police cruiser to a church parking lot, where he engaged in deviate sexual intercourse with the boy. In March 2019, Osborne pleaded guilty to electronic solicitation of a child, second-degree sodomy, reckless endangerment, and enticing a child for immoral purposes. Sentencing was scheduled for a later date.
