Deputy Troy Haymore – Cochise County Sheriff’s Office

In August 2019, Deputy Haymore rear-ended a stopped vehicle at nearly 70 mph while responding to a domestic violence call. The investigation revealed he was traveling at about 107 mph five seconds before impact. Haymore was cited for failure to control speed to avoid an accident, completed a defensive driving program, and received a letter of reprimand. A negligence lawsuit was filed against him and Cochise County by the victim, Richard T. Speer, seeking $125,000 in damages. Important Community Guidelines

It is strictly against our rules to:

  • Make threats of any kind
  • Share private information such as personal emails, home addresses, or phone numbers

Why This Matters

By organizing this data, we can potentially demonstrate when officers were previously aware of laws they later claim ignorance of, challenging qualified immunity defenses and promoting accountability.
