On January 6, 2023, Detective Dillenbeck was involved in a minor, non-injury collision at the intersection of State Route 89 and Prescott Lakes Parkway while driving an unmarked police vehicle. Responding officers observed signs of impairment, leading to his arrest on multiple counts of impaired driving. He was cited and released at the scene. Following the incident, Detective Dillenbeck was placed on administrative leave pending an internal investigation.
