On December 22, 2023, Officer Taylor allegedly punched his fiancée in the face during an altercation. Witnesses reported hearing a commotion from a bedroom, after which his fiancée emerged with visible facial injuries and a bleeding nose. Officer Taylor was arrested and charged with one count of domestic violence. He was subsequently terminated from the Prescott Police Department. His case is ongoing in Yavapai County Superior Court.
