Create And Track Police Department History
As Police Chief from 2020 to 2022, Jay King was accused of creating a hostile work environment, overlooking officer misconduct, and acting aggressively towards officers. Four lawsuits filed between October 2020 and May 2022 alleged wrongful termination and harassment under his leadership. The City of Unalaska settled these lawsuits for $765,000 in November 2022. King resigned in December 2022. ([ktoo.org](https://www.ktoo.org/2023/01/31/unalaska-settles-suits-claiming-hostile-work-environment-for-police/?utm_source=openai))
