In July 2021, Officer Yukniewicz, alongside Officer Brigitte Curbelo, forcefully arrested an innocent Black woman during a DUI stop involving the woman’s fiancé. The woman was tackled and charged with resisting without violence; the charge was later dropped. An Internal Affairs investigation found Yukniewicz violated department policies. She resigned during the investigation.
