In 2015, Officer James Wilson was involved in an incident with a homeless man, Terre Johnson, where excessive force was alleged. Body camera footage showed a struggle between Wilson and Johnson after Wilson poured out their beers. Johnson was charged with Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer but was found not guilty. Wilson received an oral reprimand for his conduct during the incident and remains with the Orlando Police Department.
