Detective Kordelle McKissack resigned on June 29, 2016, after an internal investigation revealed he had lied during his employment process. He falsely stated that he had not resigned from another agency under investigation, when in fact, he had been forced to resign from the Spring Hill Police Department in Tennessee in 2003 due to a rape allegation. Additionally, McKissack was found to have been untruthful in writing a search warrant and during a ‘Motion to Suppress’ hearing, leading to the dismissal of charges in a case and his credibility being questioned.
