Abdiel Anderson – New York City Police Department

Detective Abdiel Anderson has been named in numerous civil rights lawsuits over the past decade, including 25 suits since 2013 resulting in more than $500,000 in settlements. He was promoted to detective in 2008 and has accumulated at least 43 misconduct lawsuits in his career, often involving allegations of unlawful searches and false arrests. Despite this extensive litigation history, Anderson remains an active New YorkPD member with no significant disciplinary action publicly reported.
