Adam Vail – Omaha Police Department

On August 28, 2024, Officer Adam Vail fatally shot Cameron Ford, an unarmed man, during the execution of a no-knock warrant. Vail claimed Ford charged at him without showing his hands. An internal investigation found Vail violated department procedures, leading to his termination. The Douglas County Attorney declined to press charges.
