Anthony Fox, another former Jackson officer involved in George Robinson’s 2019 death, also remained in law enforcement despite the incident. Fox, who had joined the Clinton Police Department, was convicted in August 2022 for Robinson’s death and sentenced to five years in prison. However, in January 2024 an appellate court overturned Fox’s conviction, and he was released the next month. Fox was immediately reinstated as a Clinton Police Department detective upon his release.
