Bradley C. Totten – Pocahontas County Sheriff’s Department

In November 2012, Teressa Schoolcraft filed a civil rights lawsuit against former Deputy Sheriff Bradley C. Totten, alleging that he coerced her into becoming a confidential informant and later raped her in May 2010. The lawsuit also named the Pocahontas County Commission and Sheriff David Jonese, alleging violations of the state Human Rights Act and negligent supervision. The case was put on hold pending the outcome of related criminal charges against Totten.
