Brian Hobart – Connecticut State Marshal

In May 2023, State Marshal Brian Hobart admitted to falsely attesting that he personally served an eviction notice on February 23, 2023, when surveillance footage revealed the notice was actually served by another individual on February 25, 2023. Hobart cited an injury as the reason for delegating the task but acknowledged the lapse in judgment. A complaint was filed against him with the State Marshal Commission, alleging violations of conduct standards and potential legal infractions. The Commission was expected to decide on disciplinary actions following the complaint.

Important Community Guidelines

It is strictly against our rules to:

  • Make threats of any kind
  • Share private information such as personal emails, home addresses, or phone numbers

Why This Matters

By organizing this data, we can potentially demonstrate when officers were previously aware of laws they later claim ignorance of, challenging qualified immunity defenses and promoting accountability.
