In July 2017, the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office investigated allegations of sexual misconduct between Officer Cam Brown of the Quincy Police Department and a female inmate. The alleged incidents occurred while the inmate was working outside the jail as part of the Trustee Program. Brown was placed on paid leave during the investigation.
