Chance Corbett – Auburn University Department of Public Safety

In 2018, Chance Corbett, acting director of the Campus Safety and Security Department, was named in a racial discrimination lawsuit filed by Cameron Boozer, a black supervisor. Boozer alleged that Corbett passed him over for a promotion in favor of a less experienced white candidate, despite Boozer’s outstanding performance evaluations and lack of disciplinary actions. The lawsuit was reported by the Associated Press on May 3, 2018.
