Christopher Olson – Valley City Police Department

Officer Christopher Olson participated in the July 15, 2018, arrest of 72-year-old Warren Lindvold for suspected DUI. Lindvold, suffering from ankylosing spondylitis, died six days later from a broken neck. A federal civil rights lawsuit accused Olson of using excessive force and neglecting Lindvold’s serious medical needs. In November 2018, the Cass County State’s Attorney’s Office decided not to pursue criminal charges.
