Christopher Pullease – Sunrise Police Department

In November 2021, Sgt. Christopher Pullease was involved in an incident where he grabbed a fellow officer by the throat during an arrest. Body camera footage showed Pullease approaching a handcuffed suspect in a patrol car, engaging in a verbal altercation, and holding a can of pepper spray. A female officer intervened by pulling Pullease away, at which point he turned and placed his hand on her throat, pushing her backward. Pullease was relieved of his supervisory responsibilities and placed on administrative leave. In July 2022, he was charged with felony battery and assault on a law enforcement officer. He pleaded not guilty to all charges. ([ksltv.com](https://ksltv.com/500474/florida-sergeant-charged-with-felony-battery-after-grabbing-an-officer-by-the-neck-during-an-arrest/?utm_source=openai))

Important Community Guidelines

It is strictly against our rules to:

  • Make threats of any kind
  • Share private information such as personal emails, home addresses, or phone numbers

Why This Matters

By organizing this data, we can potentially demonstrate when officers were previously aware of laws they later claim ignorance of, challenging qualified immunity defenses and promoting accountability.
