In 1998, Correctional Officer Michelle Roy was terminated for making an inappropriate and derogatory comment about an inmate’s anatomy. The incident occurred when Roy observed an inmate using the toilet and made a remark about the size of his genitalia, leading to laughter from other inmates. Despite reporting her own misconduct, Roy was dismissed from her position.
