Cpt. Prince was involved in the reassignment of Officer Gentry to the night shift after her demotion. Officer Gentry complained about the schedule change, and Cpt. Prince informed her it was temporary until new sergeants gained experience. Officer Gentry alleged that this reassignment was retaliatory, but the court found that she failed to establish a prima facie case of retaliation.
