D.T. Cannon – American Fork Police Department

On April 17, 2020, Officer D.T. Cannon tackled and punched Cody Greenland, who was kneeling with his hands up, during an arrest in a Target parking lot. Greenland filed a federal lawsuit in March 2022, alleging excessive force and constitutional rights violations. The lawsuit is ongoing, and the American Fork Police Department has declined to comment on the active case.
