Dan Gallagher – West Jordan Police Department

Former Captain Dan Gallagher was implicated in a lawsuit filed by former officer Aaron Jensen, alleging a decade of sexual harassment and retaliation. Gallagher reportedly subjected Jensen to homophobic jokes and comments, creating a hostile work environment. After Jensen filed a formal complaint, Gallagher allegedly initiated a criminal investigation against him, leading to charges that were later dismissed. In 2017, a federal jury awarded Jensen nearly $3 million in damages for malicious prosecution and retaliation. Gallagher retired from the department around the time the charges against Jensen were dismissed.
