David Bower – Soldotna Police Department

In July 2023, Officer David Bower was arrested on a fourth-degree domestic violence assault charge. He was placed on administrative leave and later retired on April 1, 2024. In June 2024, Bower was acquitted of the assault charge after a five-day trial. The jury found him not guilty of recklessly causing physical injury to another person. An additional charge of violating conditions of release was dismissed following the acquittal.
