In 2018, while off-duty and in his personal vehicle with his two-year-old son, Deputy Bradshaw followed Mario Rosales home, blocked his driveway, and pointed a gun at him without cause. Bradshaw was fired from the sheriff’s office, arrested, and convicted of aggravated assault and child abuse. He was sentenced to two years in prison. Rosales filed a civil lawsuit against Bradshaw, which was initially dismissed but later reinstated by the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals in July 2023, allowing the case to proceed.
