David Gorski II – Cromwell Police Department

Officer David Gorski II resigned in July 2014 and subsequently filed a lawsuit against the town for wrongful termination. In June 2013, Gorski was involved in a shooting incident deemed justified by the Middlesex County State’s Attorney. Following the incident, he alleged that he faced retaliation and discriminatory conduct from his supervisors, including Chief Anthony Salvatore and Captain Denise Lamontagne. Incidents included being disciplined for responding to a call outside his patrol area, being ordered to make modifications to his shooting incident report, and having his probationary period extended without proper authority. Gorski claimed he was pressured to resign under duress and sought back wages, benefits, and damages. Important Community Guidelines

It is strictly against our rules to:

  • Make threats of any kind
  • Share private information such as personal emails, home addresses, or phone numbers

Why This Matters

By organizing this data, we can potentially demonstrate when officers were previously aware of laws they later claim ignorance of, challenging qualified immunity defenses and promoting accountability.
