Deputy Chris Rager – Dukes County Sheriff’s Office

In April 2019, Deputy Rager was involved in a vehicle pursuit that ended in a collision. He failed to immediately report the use of force and did not complete the required use of force report within 24 hours, as mandated by department rules. Additionally, he provided erroneous information in the crash report and did not seek medical attention immediately after the event.
