Deputy Deven Morris – Morgan County Sheriff’s Department

In 2020, Deputy Morris was investigated for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor. The investigation revealed sufficient evidence suggesting violations of state codes regarding distribution of obscene matter to a minor and solicitation of a minor via computer. He failed a polygraph examination related to the investigation. Despite this, no criminal charges were filed due to conflicting statements from the 15-year-old victim.
