Deputy Sheriff Christopher McCasland – Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office

In March 2016, Deputy McCasland admitted to intentionally injuring a detainee by abruptly applying the brakes of his vehicle, causing the detainee to hit his head. This admission was recorded by fellow Deputy Robert Ellison. McCasland’s actions were reported internally, but no public disciplinary actions or outcomes have been documented.
