Deputy Steve Hunter – Wayne County Sheriff’s Office

In June 2013, Deputy Steve Hunter was implicated in a case involving the suicide of inmate Srinivas Nallani. Hunter worked the night shift and conducted cell checks without noticing any issues. The court found no evidence that Hunter was deliberately indifferent to the inmate’s serious medical needs, and summary judgment was granted in his favor.
