Detective Derek Rogers was involved in a vehicle pursuit on January 26, 2024, which ended with the suspect fleeing on foot. Rogers apprehended the suspect and held him on the ground until backup arrived. Allegations of misconduct were raised, but the Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training denied the request for Rogers’ decertification without a hearing.
