Detective Phil Crawford – Utah County Sheriff’s Office

Detective Phil Crawford participated in a February 2019 arrest where excessive force was used. After a high-speed chase, Crawford rammed the suspect’s car with an unmarked minivan and was observed kneeing the suspect in the chest while he was on the ground. Internal investigations resulted in a written reprimand for Crawford. No criminal charges were filed.
