Devin Eaton – Hamden Police Department

On April 16, 2019, Officer Devin Eaton discharged his service weapon 13 times at an unarmed couple’s vehicle, injuring passenger Stephanie Washington. Eaton was arrested on October 21, 2019, and charged with first-degree assault and two counts of reckless endangerment. He pleaded no contest to felony assault and was sentenced to three years probation and 450 hours of community service. Eaton resigned from the Hamden Police Department in January 2022 and agreed never to seek employment in law enforcement again.
