Dina Vardal – Oak Park Police Department

Former Sergeant Dina Vardal faced multiple allegations of misconduct. In 2012, Officer Rasul Freelain accused her of sexual harassment and retaliation after he rejected her advances. Vardal was placed on paid administrative leave in 2014 and resigned in 2015 following a nine-month leave. Another officer, Anthony Razzino, filed an EEOC complaint in 2015, alleging discrimination and retaliation related to Vardal’s conduct.
