Former Albany Police Officer Dion Johnson faced multiple complaints of harassment and sexual assault from coworkers and a member of the public. Prior to these allegations, Johnson was accused of misleading his supervisor about his eligibility for overtime and resigned from the Albany Police Department after his supervisor recommended charges for these violations. When Johnson applied to the Saugerties Police Department, Albany Police failed to disclose his prior misconduct. Attorney General Letitia James recommended his termination from the Saugerties Police Department.
