Create And Track Police Department History
On March 5, 2022, former deputy Blake Hicks used excessive force during the arrest of Tristen Quinn. Hicks punched and kicked Quinn in the head while Quinn was handcuffed and lying on the ground, resulting in a broken cheekbone, concussion, and lacerations. Hicks was indicted on federal charges for deprivation of rights under color of law and pleaded guilty in March 2024. He faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.
