In 2017, a supervisor at Grand Canyon National Park was reported for sexual harassment over a period of ten months. The supervisor allegedly touched a female intern inappropriately, sent unwanted text messages, and invited her to ‘cuddle’ during a conference. The intern initially hesitated to report due to career concerns but eventually sought help. The supervisor was placed on paid administrative leave during the investigation and resigned by October 2017.
