In March 2010, Officer Nathan White was involved in the excessive use of force during the arrest of Antonio Scott at a Piggly Wiggly store. White, along with other officers, deployed tasers numerous times, resulting in unjustified force. An internal investigation determined that White violated the department’s Taser Policy and Use of Force Policy. Consequently, he was terminated from his position in January 2011.
