Create And Track Police Department History
In June 2006, Officer Ronald Davis responded to a domestic disturbance call. During the incident, he forcibly entered a residence without a warrant, physically assaulted Kelli Harris by throwing her to the floor and striking her repeatedly, resulting in serious injuries including a dislocated shoulder and broken ankle. Later, at the hospital, Davis used a taser on Kenneth Harris without apparent cause and arrested him for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. These actions led to a lawsuit alleging excessive force and constitutional violations. ([casetext.com](https://casetext.com/case/harris-v-city-of-prattville-1?utm_source=openai))
