In July 2012, Officer Anthony Majusiak, along with Officer Brian Warren, filed a lawsuit against Mayor Katy Woodall and the Town of Fyffe, alleging a campaign to discredit and undermine them, including libel, slander, and emotional distress. Shortly after filing the lawsuit, both officers were placed on paid administrative leave and received letters indicating the town’s intent to terminate their employment. They had 10 days to request a hearing with the Fyffe Town Council. The lawsuit aimed to clear their names and restore their reputations.
