    Between October 2014 and May 2015, Officer Massaro allegedly raped a female inmate inside a supply closet at the Schenectady County Jail. In 2017, he was suspended without pay for 90 days and placed on three years of probation after initiating sexually inappropriate conversations with a female colleague. He was later terminated from his position. A $25 million lawsuit was filed against him and the county under New York’s Adult Survivors Act.
