As a co-lead officer in the 1996 investigation of Josette Wright’s murder, Quick was alleged to have coerced confessions, threatened and manipulated witnesses, fabricated inculpatory evidence, and concealed exculpatory information to secure convictions. These actions contributed to wrongful convictions that were later overturned.
