In January 2013, Detective Bradley Sterling was charged with resisting or obstructing an officer after allegedly engaging in inappropriate sexually suggestive conversations with a woman in 2012. During an investigation, Sterling denied such interactions, contradicting recorded conversations. He pleaded guilty in May 2013, received a stayed sentence, and was placed on probation for one year with 60 hours of community service in a domestic violence organization.
