Sergeant Brian Gerber was arrested on March 20, 2025, and charged with 12 felony counts of obtaining property worth more than $20,000 under false pretenses. The charges stem from his off-duty employment as a security guard at Marketfair Mall on Skibo Road. The Fayetteville Police Department found substantial evidence supporting the charges, and Gerber is in the process of being formally dismissed from the department. This marks the third Fayetteville police officer to face criminal charges in the past year.

Our Mission

We're building a comprehensive database of police interactions to promote accountability and transparency in law enforcement.

  • View the Blog: Read about documented police interactions
  • Share Your Experience: Submit your own police interaction story
  • Browse the Forums: Check if your local law enforcement has been documented

Important Community Guidelines

It is strictly against our rules to:

  • Make threats of any kind
  • Share private information such as personal emails, home addresses, or phone numbers

Why This Matters

By organizing this data, we can potentially demonstrate when officers were previously aware of laws they later claim ignorance of, challenging qualified immunity defenses and promoting accountability.
