In May 2023, State Marshal Brian Hobart admitted to falsely attesting that he personally served an eviction notice on February 23, 2023, when surveillance footage revealed the notice was actually served by another individual on February 25, 2023. Hobart cited an injury as the reason for delegating the task but acknowledged the lapse in judgment.
