On November 7, 2020, Deputy Loftin conducted a traffic stop on Glen Stewart, a Black man, without probable cause. During the stop, Loftin allegedly mistook Stewart’s insurance documents for a weapon, drew his firearm, and pointed it at Stewart’s head. After Stewart drove to his home seeking a witness, Loftin, along with other officers, reportedly assaulted him by punching, tasing, and beating him. They also allegedly planted evidence in Stewart’s vehicle and falsified records. A civil rights lawsuit was filed against Loftin and others for these actions.

Our Mission

We're building a comprehensive database of police interactions to promote accountability and transparency in law enforcement.

  • View the Blog: Read about documented police interactions
  • Share Your Experience: Submit your own police interaction story
  • Browse the Forums: Check if your local law enforcement has been documented

Important Community Guidelines

It is strictly against our rules to:

  • Make threats of any kind
  • Share private information such as personal emails, home addresses, or phone numbers

Why This Matters

By organizing this data, we can potentially demonstrate when officers were previously aware of laws they later claim ignorance of, challenging qualified immunity defenses and promoting accountability.
