    Officer Cameron Maurer resigned in October 2005 after being charged with five counts of misconduct, including lying during an investigation and falsifying an official report. The Council on Police Training unanimously concluded that Maurer’s dishonesty undermined public trust, leading to his decertification as a police officer in Delaware.
