Former Deputy Christian Phillip Heidecker, 32, pleaded guilty in February 2024 to 13 felony counts, including four each of extortion, bribery, and dissuading a witness, as well as one count of engaging in a sex act as a detention officer. Heidecker exploited his position by compelling women under house arrest to send him sexually explicit material in exchange for preferential treatment.
